New PRV Question...

I sort-of asked this in the sticky thread, but as a clearer version of my question...

* Is there a setting where selecting a note in the new PRV automatically selects that MIDI track everywhere else? *

As it stands, when selecting a note it highlights that track in the note view itself, but not in the track pane so you have no idea what track you're actually editing (other than guessing by listening, which can be difficult with multiple generic named synths, or scrolling through all your tracks in the track view to find the highlighted track, again a real pain with large templates)

The only way I'm even able to see the notes of multiple midi tracks in the PRV right now is by highlighting all the tracks yellow in the track pane (pencil icon/track number) but perhaps there's a different view setting that would change the note selecting behavior?

I'm perfectly happy to chalk this up to user error if there's something I'm missing!

    Hi Biscuits,

You're not missing anything.  What you're describing is a bug that was introduced the day we released 17.03.  Selecting notes on different tracks in the PRV Grid *should* update the track selection in the PRV's Track List (and in the Track View) but it's not.  It's already been fixed for the next release.  I do apologize for this.  For now, you have to do the selection manually in the Track List. :-(

Ok great, thanks Bob - really glad to know it's going to be fixed in the next update, I otherwise really liked the changes to the new PRV!
