New Pugtones Song "SWINGIN' WHAT YOU'RE BRINGIN'

Music by Mark and lyrics by Warren.   Well, the lyrics speak for themselves.  This is a tribute to all women and my woman.  I'm fascinated by all of them.  They make the world intriguing.  So.... this intro might not really explain what you're going to hear but, the words are out of reverence to man's gift from God.  I love watchin' women!  All suggestions are welcome and thanks for listening!

Here's to women! I care deeply about the softer side of Sears... And I am a strong supporter of the woman's movement? As long as I'm walking behind it...

Seriously though? In my free time, I give back to the community by volunteering at the battered woman's shelter downtown? I show up now and then "and offer to dip them in the batter!" They usually call the cops and I have to beat a hasty retreat. And with the end of the song? The end of my bad puns :-)

    Loved it!

great idea. the vocal when it's single tracked could come up a little but is perfect with the multi-tracking. otherwise a great mix, it sounds top-drawer!

Hold on just a second, I'm still laughing at Robby's post above. Well, now that I'm sane again, you guys did a nice job on this one. The vocals were pretty kool and the instrumentation sounded right in place. The lyrics do tell a story for sure. Great song and well done. Thanks for sharing.

    Peace and blessings, John

    Yo Warren,

Cool number with a kind of Neil Young vibe. Great guitar mesh.

The lyrics? Well I think Robby said it all, and more. Suffice it to say, this worthy subject matter.

    Robby- Thanks

Mark- I had Mark turn down that particular vocal part because I think it is weak!  I haven't been happy with any of my vocals for awhile, except the Beatles tunes. I don't know what it is but anyway Mark makes me sound better than I really do... Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment.

John(Gtrplyr)- Thanks for listening and commenting.  We appreciate the kind words and I'm glad you like the story.  I haven't played this song for my wife.  LOL

    "Robby- Thanks "

I met a nice young lady the other night? It was touch and go there for a while? I kept touching myself and she kept asking me to go!

    Too soon?

I tell ya, my wife was never nice. On our first date, I asked her if I could give her a goodnight kiss on the cheek - she bent over!
I get no respect. (credit to Rodney.)  He was the king of the inappropriate pun, may he rest in peace.  We enjoy his bad movies to this day? I do anyway.

    Gents,

Really fine song and well done.   Huge fan of your chord choices in this song for the intro and verses..   and of course your subject matter is universally appealing as most of us are big fans of the fairer sex.

    Hey, Warren and Mark,

Another excellent addition to the Pugtone's classic repertoire!

Great songwriting, nice performances on all of the instruments, and Warren's vocals and harmonies were top notch.

The mix sounds great, I really love the harp, the punchy bass, and Mark's guitar solo on this reminds me of early Neil Young.  Sounds like you guys had a great time putting this one together.

Nice work, boys, very well done!

    Great vibe guys.

Everything sits well and I think it sounds bigger than the few instruments that are in the song. My favourite parts is when the second vocal comes in at 0:43. I also like the harmonica break that leads into the guitar solo at 1:40.

    Nice work.
