New Release: "Closer" feat. Mia Valo [Exalted Tunes; EDM]

Here is our latest EP release titled "Closer" featuring Mia Valo on vocals.  The song was released last week by Exalted Tunes (sub-label of Straight Up! Records/Big Alliance) and is available on iTunes and Beatport.  The song was composed and mixed in Sonar X1 (vocals tracked in PT9) and the Avery Parker remix was done in Sonar 8.5.

    You really knocked this one out of the park.  I particularly like the acoustic version because it draws attention to the vocal which is the centerpiece of the song, imo.  Both versions are terrific, and it's great to hear such skilled arrangements.  Mia has a lovely voice, and I would exploit it to the max.  Fantastic job.

    What a beautiful woman. I clicked the youtube because I wanted to see her dance? :-( I like the ambient feel, even though it's really what, "Trance?" She sounds great and your mixes always shine. Good job here.

    Well, I thought the original mix weas better (imho) than the remix.  HOWEVER.... the acoustic is awesome and really lets Mia shine.  You lucky dog!  You get to work with some great female singers!  Do you advertise or just meet them through contacts, etc?  Either way, I always love seeing a song posted by you.  I love female singers and have been fortunate to work with a few up here.  Congrats on this beautiful music!

    Liked the original but loved the acoustic version with that beautiful piano playing Dave (of course I would) She has a captivating voice and your blend of various instrumentation/composing really compliment each other. You always deliver the goods!

    I think this has to be one of my favs from you to date.

    I like the choice of versions.  The acoustic version gives a pointer to the foundation the dance tracks have developed out of which makes for interesting comparisons.

    You can do no wrong in my eyes to be honest but I've got to say I'm loving Avery's remix here, that's really put me in the zone.

    Well, listening to the whole trio was a really enjoyable interlude in my day.

    Liked the original and the acoustic mixes, not so keen on the remix.  Great voice good tune.  Thanks for sharing.
