I am curious what kind of machine this was run on, since the Mix Recall is not as quick as I was expecting to see (and perhaps machine related). It seems Mix Recall is a great tool for rendering mixes to new tracks (can easily identify scenes for rendering to mix tracks), but that the quickest A/B comparisons would still be achieved via exclusive solos against mix-down tracks?

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

I have installed, but not played around with, Platinum.  Mix recall, based solely on this video, seems like a way to save within a save (versions within a project?)...I can see this being a useful feature for me

Yep. Much more powerful and flexible that it seems with a first loo. Wait till you get a chance to AB mixes just by a simple menu selection.

Excellent! Thanks for this. The only thing I didn't understand was vocal sync. What were you trying to sync TO?  A separately recorded second vocal?

Yep.  Its most useful for doubled vocals.  You sync one track to another...
