New Shortcut document
I have recreated the Sonar X1 shortcut document so the font is much bigger and easier to read. I have this in MS Word format (.doc). Anyone who has MS Office 2003 or greater can open (Or OpenOrg). I also have it saved as PDF and HTML. Now all I need is a place to put this so everyone can have access to these. I don't have any file sharing/web sites set up at present so can someone help me out here?

Something that worked for me - I copied and pasted the tables/text containing all of the shortcuts into a note in this (free) app - one click brings up a "sticky note" with all of the new shortcuts on the screen at any time - works great as a means to get educated on the new shortcuts. http://download.cnet.com/Sticky-Notes/3000-12565_4-10573348.html

No Problem... Brando, Thanks for reminding me...Sticky Notes are part of Windows 7. Maybe I'll stick it in there to see how it works.

Well, my vision for a graphic way to set key bindings would include a way to export them to a PDF, Word, or Excel spreadsheet; or send them straight to a printer; and to print them graphically. But until they put me in charge of that coding team, this will do very nicely. Thanks! [Rant] PS - Can anybody tell me why my smilies always go to the beginning of my post? It's a real hassle to cut/paste them into the appropriate location. PPS - Can anybody tell me why all of the smilies are so AWFUL on this forum? What the hell are these? They are not clear, they are not funny, they are not even cute. What are they? [/rant]

I think a lot of people have struggles with the way the forum software works, as evidenced by replies that look like they are part of the quote so often. All I do is to make sure my cursor goes to the very end of a quote where it's no longer indented - then start typing there. And if I click on the smiley widget/icon, it usually goes to where my cursor position left off. Don't know if that helps you or not, but it works for me fine that way.

Hi Billy. Yes, the quote thing was a problem for me at first, then I realized I have to do what you do...keep cursoring down down down until my cursor goes far left. Then I can begin typing. But the smiley thing is a real pain. No matter where I place my cursor, the smiley goes to the beginning of the post. For example, before the "Hi Billy" in this post. And the emoticons are really bad; unclear on my monitor at the least, and totally nonsense-looking at the worst. They are so bad that even though I still use them, I keep thinking that they really DON'T impart the emotion I really wish, even if it's a smile or a laugh. Y'know what, I think I'm just going to start typing them... (smile) (wink), etc...

But, I actually do just type them myself (shorthand style) often to avoid that issue anyway ;) See? lol
