    Just grabed it.

The coupon code didnt work for me.
Do you already have to be a member for that coupon to work ?.

I watched the sample "Submix Busses", and was a bit intrigued to see he assigned multiple tracks to the BUSes
the hard way - eg: 1 by 1 rather than as a group.

It will be a few hours before I get to take a look over the full vids, be gone for a few hours work up the farm !.

I logged in and the coupon did not work. I sent them an email asking for a discount code. We will see. I can always get Sweetwater to give me a 30 day pass. I have bought several items from them that would qualify for the 30 day pass and have never used it. If they balk I will tell them I will buy somewhere else in the future... coupon or free, don't matter to me.

I purchased at full price. Coupon did not work. $10/hr for technical lessons, still notihng to complain about. All the groove3 videos are excellent this one is awesome and very articulate. I also picked up the new Ken Lewis video, which is pretty much antecdotal garbage with him just sitting there doing the same edits for 20 or so minutes.

I picked up the video and it was already on-sale.  perhaps that is why the coupon did not work for some.

I'm thru about 1/3 of the videos and have to say it is very good.  I already do some of the things talked about,  but was able to still learn a thing or two about those techniques.

This is not only a very good "Sonar" video,  but an exellent guide to mixing.

Just a quick note as a teaser for those waiting for X1D. This video includes an addendum that shows and goes into detail about the new PC Hybrid EQ.  Looks pretty cool (including numeric display on the knobs).

One down side, what's with the stereo field shift of all the audio after the "kick samples" video (so starting at the "snare sound" video)?  Everything is shifted to the right...super annoying for an audio production tutorial....

Bought the bundle of three XP explained, Tips and Tricks, and Mixing from Cake for $99.  You should do one of these on The V- studio 700 system.  I've yet to see an indepth video tutorial explaining all aspects of this system including the onboard fantom.

Pity you cannot add colour to tracks in console view.
I've requested this feature multiple times.  I'm guessing they look at the track icons as a replacement for this, but to me the track icons look silly, and they in no way help with navigation the way colors in Pro Tools do, for instance, nor is it as fast to assign icons.  The one thing I prefer in Pro Tools over Sonar is the Console View for this very reason.  Hoping someday they get rid of icons and adopt coloring.

Anyhow, my Groove3 video is downloading now.  I don't think I've ever watched a Sonar tutorial before!

I have been thinking of doing a video on the VS-700.  But I am still drafting the outline and I don't have two cameras so it will take a while to film and put together. Maybe my march project, if I don't have too many customers that month.
