an old one i see. so mix crits might be a bit superfluous? there's a few timing nits but I like the tune itself. it's quite a clever idea to revisit the Bolero concept, playing the same tune with such different instrumentation. enjoyed it.

Thanks for listening mgh! Have you ever waited tables? If you have then you know what it's like being *in the weeds* (besides the literal meaning). If you and your friend are in the weeds because the cooks are slow you look at eachother and you're feeling the same raw emotion at the same time. The tables scream at you of course for the food being late. Don't shoot the piano player! :D:D

My dad owned a restaurant and our son is a chef. I waited tables for 3 years at the age of 13-16 years. Unfortunately the wait staff is the liaison and therefore the front line. Ok, so I didn't connect the feelings you described with this tune but that doesn't matter because it is really pretty. The mix was nice and it held my attention. Instrumentals don't always do that for me.

I found it created a very mellow mood, I liked your guitar and the song. We don't eat in restaurants very often, but I could see it matching that setting.

Thx for listening pug. Ya, I've worked many jobs where I get blamed for others mistakes. It's humbling. I started realizing that the problem truly rests with those who are complaining all the time. Life's too short, let IT be!

Nice playing sir - nice chord changes and theme throughout. Did Riverdance come in half-way through there?

Love Riverdance, lots of cute blondes on that one. Daryl: you have to admit on the whole, the IRish are cuter, no? Thanks for listening, glad everyone mellowed out and just enjoyed themselves! I think Dave 003 would be more welcome if we all just chilled. :D:D

Awesome vibe here! Great playing and a great mix. I can't think of a thing that compels me to provide my feeble feedback. Love the guitar tones.

Good one David. Loved the way the kick and the continuous hi-hats started the rhythm. Lovely guitar. Catchy change of percussion at 1:22. Cool overall...

Don't shoot the piano player, shoot the hi-hat guy... Actually, I liked everything except maybe thinking the hi-hat being a little too loud and mechanical in the beginning. The guitar play and melody is lovely, I would like to hear more of that. From 1:22 and forward the drums feels more in place. Good work, I think it is a creative piece you got here.

Thanks Leizer! I suppose I could *humanize* the midi hi hat a little. What would that look like on the drum map? Would it mostly be velocity adjustments? Most drummers can get the rhythm straight but the dynamics vary slightly.

I'm no drummer, but you can try soften the 2nd and 4th 16th-note. Then depending on the style hit the 1st and 3rd differently. Like for ex. velocity of: 110,50,75,50 repeatedly or 75,50,110,50 repeatedly. Tweak after taste. Maybe a real drummer thinks differently of this.
