I wish this ear worm would die.

Country sitar, huh...   now that's something I've never thought I'd hear...

Interesting combination.   Any plans for vocals or melodic instrument?

I like the mood that you have created and the chord changes. Not 100% on the sitar though, sorry.

Ya the sitar is  not perfection.  Here's the lyrics:

    Enter battlefields forever
    say you're gonna stay
    disregard the people
    but then people pass away

    There's problems still
    issues of the heart
    where people dwell
    only time will tell.

    Let it come to pass
    don't throw it all away
    forgive yourself your sins
    you know god already has.

    Don't throw it all away
you know that we'll pull through
we have so much to live for
you know that we'll pull through

    chorus 1
    rise
    in the morning
    thankful for the rest
    thank god for new beginnings
    don't dwell on the past.

    Verse 2:

     Your voice
     the anthem of my life
     eternal silence
     forever is too long

    It's music to me
    though you didn't know
    I won't enjoy another song
    forever is too long
    (modulate)
    forever is too long

     Chorus 2:

    forever is too long
    forever is too long

    Verse*
    Enter battlefields forever
    say you're gonna stay
    disregard the people
    but then people pass away

    Bridge:

    Rise
    In the morning
    wait for a better day
    pray

and if he beats her, she'll leave him for Eric Clapton.

You could put the sound of a waterfall in the background, so I could get the Rush 2112 effect. That would be cool . . .

I'd say your song and performance are quite pleasant! I went with the sitar and ended up liking it.Overall, a nice mellow vibe is achieved.

I waited in vain for anything being sung, but apparently there are lyrics, so sounds like eventually the baby is making plans to sing?

    cheers,
    -Tom

wow, thanks for that emerald soul.    Sometimes I try to influence things by creating a *singing bowl* effect.  One has to be heavily medicated or buddhist to enjoy it.  :D:D
