New Song looking for mix review before mastering.

Hey everyone we have a new song that we are just finishing wrapping up the mixing in preparation of mastering on Thursday.  Just wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone had any major comments on the mix that maybe helpful before it is finalized.  Hope you enjoy.

Well, the lead guitar is so far in the background you can barely here it. You do have to do some work on each track and bring all the instrumentation into perspective with the vocals being up front. Let us hear the finished piece to have a better sound all around, then more comments can help you to perfect it better.

    Peace and blessings, John

Yeah, I agree about the lead guitar. It could come up some, but I think I hear what your going for there. The rest sounds good to me. Sounds like a Rock & Roll band. To much polish and you'll lose the mojo.

I agree with bringing the lead up, and I think the backing vocals should be up slightly too (in the choruses). I also wish the kick had more bottom end.

    Thanks,

Hey, thanks for taking the time to give a listen and make some note.  I am going to perform some last minute tweaks to the mix this evening and a final mix down in preparation of mastering tomorrow.  I am going to take a looks the the lead guitar line, that we originally tucking into the mix intentionally and maybe bring it up a hair, as well as see if I can add a little bit more weight to the kick, though this is something that I have trying to do for a good while and not having much luck.  Has anyone else experienced this with SSD4 , and if so what did you do to remedy the situation?
