New Song
Well it's not really a new song, just a re-working of my first song. After I put out my first ever recording Herb aka Guitarhacker took pitty on me. he was a great help. He set me up with a new template and after I re-did my guitars he added Drums, Bass, and then mixed it and did some production for me. Please take another listen and let me know what you think, its on my soundclick site the new mix is Redemption HH mix. Just a little heads up PC speakers do nothing for this instrumental but if you play it thru monitors the Drums kick butt. Enjoy, Jim.

Jim, Herb This sounds great guys - I'm hearing a little David Gilmour in that lead guitar, very sweet. The mix and production are spot on, this sounds great routed through my hi-fi Steve

great song, does remind me of gilmour a bit. lots of emotion, you have a way of making the guitar say words. the mix and mastering are incredible. awesome work.

Thanks for listening guys, Steve if you meant what you said about the Gilmore feel, I would consider that the ultimate complement. Keneds-- The drums were done by GuitarHacker so you would need to ask him but I'm pretty sure he uses a program called Jamstix, I'm going to look into it myself when I get a little better at this.

Mock, I see you're from Atlanta; I'd like to plug my friend Jon Hamilton's band, Golden Fro. He's the drummer. If you're the clubbing type, check them out in the Atlanta area. They're on myspace, too. And Utube. Half of Golden Fro

Quite a difference between the original and the remix.....if I do say so myself... Yes the drums are Jamstix.

ORIGINAL: Mock Steve if you ment what you said about the Gilmore feel, I would consider that the ultimate complement. Yup, that's how I meant it The phrasing is very similar - a bit like the guitar is trying to say something, very difficult to pull off successfully but this does it for me

I'll be sure and look them up Greg. I'm not much of a party guy these days more of an early to bed early to rise sort, but I do get out every once in a while.
