New Song up on SC...Rated D for disturbing...
https://soundcloud.com/doghouse-riley/the-skeleton-crew Here's a rough mix of a new song for the upcoming release...you know, the one that's taking years to finish. Anywhoo it's an homage to a loose amalgam of folks connected by the interweb who take it upon themselves to try to identify unknown homicide victims that the police have given up trying to identify. They are referred to as "The Skeleton Crew" in a new book by Deborah Halber. Check it out. But don't say I didn't warn ya or nothin.

Cool tune, Ol' Pal. I wish I'd read the explanation of the "Skeleton Crew" after I listened to the song. The music goes well with the theme of the lyrics.

How can I be feeling yuck and thinking good music at the same time? The mix is wonderful. The music is nothing jaw dropping but well done. The lyric is in a classification all by itself. You did a great job on it Ol Pal!

Yorolpal, Very creative and really well mixed and produced. Impressive work. Reminds me of Don Henley's solo stuff from the mid 80's. Regards

Yo Yorol, Cool track from start to finish. I like the way the vocal cuts through a fairly dense instrumental track. Probably some engineering tricks I should know about, there. Cheers, Bert

Well done! Quirky? Yup. Cool vibe? Oh yeah. Well mixed? Absolutely. I wasn't sure about the guitar at first, but it settled in nicely.

Whoa - took a half hour to get a new log in working. Yeesh... Anyway, love this. Like a cross between Tom Waits and So Alive (Love and Rockets). The Steven King title pulls it all together. As usual - your production is right on the money. A good listen and something I could see being used as a theme for a TV (like True Detective).
