New Sound Card! Need recommendations

I need recommendations on a new soundcard for recording. I will be using mostly Software Synths and Midi and guitar rig 4. I don't plan to record any vocals or anything.

    your budget, portability needs, I/O and more affect the decision.  I have advice on that on the website as well.

    What type of machine are you running?
    On the higher end, the RME Babyface is a great small/simple audio interface.
    On the lower end (cost), the M-audio Audiofile 192 may be all you need.

    Something small should be more than enough for you. The M-Audio USB interfaces should fit your budget and needs.
