New Tempo Map feature - get vocal sample to sync to fixed bpm?

Hello!

I really think that the tempo map feature of the 2016.03 update are fantastic, and I wanted to give it a try.

I inserted a rather long vocal sample (Roland Clark - Only House music) famous from various house tracks.
As you can see in the image, after analyzing the file I got the following tempo...

It is great that melodyne/sonar analyze the file and set the tempo after the inserted file.
However, if I want to insert a file, analyze it and use it in a project I want to make at 125 bpm (steady). How do I do this?

I've also tried copy a short snippet of the sample (about 1-2 bars), and got bpm of roughly 120 bpm

Any tips very welcome:)

The only way I know of doing this is with Melodyne Studio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVeZDnYKy2U#t=1

No problem, there were some great upgrade deals from editor 2 to studio 4. I paid $126 http://audiodeluxe.com/products/celemony-melodyne-editor-melodyne-4-studio-upgrade If you register and add it to the cart you get a better price.  Studio 4 is nothing short of amazing. In Studio 4's tempo view you can drag tempos up and down with the cursor. Once you get what you're looking for you can render it and drop it into Sonar's timeline to set the project tempo.

there are vids on this. Learn to google... you just need to upgrade to editor 4 or studio 4... Either lets you edit/modify the tempo line...it is totally EASY...and awesome.

I do not believe this will deal with vocals/formants etc... but I may be wrong...you will get chipmonk/looooow swings with tempo changes.  This is basically a midi function, not an audio function...

I have Melodyne Essentials 4. Doesn't work that well on a vocal track. Kept getting varying degrees of BPM. I guess that would make sense though.
