New Tune "Blue, Faded Like Bluejeans"
I haven't posted anything new here in ages, so thought it was about time. This is a current sample of what I like to compose and record - easy listening with vocal harmonies. Hope you enjoy a listen - comments welcome. over on Soundclick, top of the listing - http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=1007877 This was done in Sonar X-1 PE, I'm in the process of installing X-2 while I save sheckles for X-3! ~ John

Nice feel but the beach sounds were a little distracting.

Harmonies are nice. Kind of a sad and happy song. Mello type song.

Thanks for the feedback! I always get very mixed response about beach sounds. I think I'll try a mix without them. And yeah, I usually do pretty mello stuff. Must be getting old...! lol Thanks again for taking a listen! ~ John

Real pretty John. "color me blue, faded like blue jeans" Love that line. I wish you'd have expanded on it. (tattered and torn, smiling at moonbeams,, etc etc) Yea, the sound effects are a little over the top IMO.

I liked it. Sweet and mellow. The vocal parts with harmonies might be a little hot in a few places, but that's so minor. Nice song.
