    Frank,

As always, you deliver the goods. A very cool tune and the imagery is really a great compliment for this track.
I am a Frank Frazetta fan and to see some of his work (or a sterling copy of his work) is wonderful.

Great choices all around. Super job.

I listened to the You tube version and then I listened to the sound click version. The sound click version sounded better to me. I know it is the same song. I think you tube looses something in the conversion process. At least this has been my experience with them.

Frank as always very good job. I like the way the guitar and the sax played off each other. I also like the guitar tone.

Thanks Marcus... but after listening with fresh ears, I had to delete both... I'm really having a hard time getting this one right... This is my latest attempt uploaded to Soundcloud...

Hey Frank - I remember the original posting for this one - great song. Have you re-done the drums too?

Yes, I worked on the kick & snare quite a bit... I hope they sound better now... I can't tell any more...
    Thanks for listening again...

It does sound great however, I reckon it would sound cool with the drums double time. Think 'Reelin in the years' Steely Dan

Honestly Frank, I think you've lost track of what the song wants to be.
Not sure what you are trying to achieve.
Does the tune really need/want all the autotune/melodyne?

Send me the 3 versions (I think there's 3, roight) and I'll tell you everything you don''t want to hear.

Lol... yes, I think I have lost track... I think it may just need another singer... or maybe just make it an instrumental...
thanks Tim... I may take you up on your offer...

Or, turn it into a blues tune.

    My experience is;

    1. Friends
    2. Lovers
    3. I hate your ....ing guts get the .... out.

I like it, my "personal" recommendation would be that you make it a little more sparce like when you're taking the solos, but do that some more on the verse/chorus as well. Sonically, the organ and horns feel like they're fighting (even through they are panned, I hear that)

Or maybe less so in the beginning/middle and then build it in the end? But "everybody" is a producer I have learned...

I cannot possibly come up with a single crit or suggestion. This is an outstanding mix. Everything is balanced, good use of effects. Mind blown Frank.

Frank, give this one a little time.  Don't listen to it for a while before you get jaded.  I love the song and the mix, and others seem to like it, as well, so you're on to something.  With words this good, don't make it an instrumental.  Just my two cents, but I hope it helps give you perspective.

    All the best,
