Anyone having problems with this plugin on Studio One? On my rig 3/4 of GUI is grayed out:(

It seems there are quite a few with the same problem. I have had tickets at Presonus and Waves for the past week and Waves asked me to do two different reinstalls, Presonus had me remove security software. The problem persists.

Only the output section controls can be selected and I find that after choosing a few presets it crashes to desktop.

There are a couple of threads:

I have the same problem with Sonar / Cakewalk / Bandlab (and and Studio One). The GUI is only on after a new computer restart! So all mastering is done after a restart! If I close Cakewalk, the next open the GUI is greyed out. Put in a ticket to Waves and have only had an acknowledgement back, no suggestions. Quoted the other ticket number.
I'll be interested to know any further developments. I keep checking for any updates (in hope).

The problem for me appears to be directly related to how S1 (3.5) interfaces with this particular plugin. I run numerous other Waves plugins (9 and 10) with no problem. It also runs on the latest Bandlab Cakewalk, on the same computer, with no problem.

I just ran the Waves Central updates released this weekend—and now can’t even get the TG Mastering GUI to show up at all in Studio One.

Try a reinstall of that plugin from Waves Central.

For me, I send my Licenses to the cloud, uninstall them, then
use "Easy Install and Activate" and they show back up again.
I tried the "one plugin" deal, and it wasn't so effective, so have
just opted to do a full reinstall when that happens and it's always
worked

I haven't worked with S1 much so I am not sure if there was a "reset" like CbB has. If he was running CbB, I would have told him to reset then run a scan again.

But the whole reinstall will more than likely work. It's just now with Mercury, damn that takes a long time!!

Yes...technically it's ridiculous to even have to do this...

I agree. And I wrote to Waves support and express this sentiment. Got no reply! : )

Hi. Studio One has a reset blacklist, which will scan through all plugins. It's under Settings (Ctrl+,), Locations, under the Vst Plugins Tab.

Re: New - Waves Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain Plugin 2018/11/05 02:14:28 (permalink)
I am running Waves ver 10 plugs in Studio One 4.1.1.

Waves solved my issue with not seeing the newly added DBX 160.

Waves Issue Solved by Waves: The issue was that a new purchase and installation of the Waves dbx 190 ver 10 for Windows did not show up in Studio One 4.1.1 Browser but it did in Studio One 3.1xxx.
All my other Waves v10 plugs worked fine.
The fix was to drag the x64 folder out of my C:Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 4 folder onto my desktop.
Then Studio One rebuilt all the settings files in a new x64 folder.
The result made the new v10 Waves plug appear.
