New Waves H-EQ plugin

Just read about the new Waves H-EQ plugin.

Looks pretty nice... and the price is reasonable ($99).  Plus, you get a $100 voucher toward your next purchase.
I don't really need another EQ...
If I didn't already have numerous options, I'd certainly consider it.
Love the interface/control... lots of different "flavor" choices... etc.
Still not x64
Intriguing...

Same here, looks interesting but I don't need another eq. I hope they add it their Gold bundle for free like they did with H-Delay & H-Comp. I use those quite a bit.

Looks really good to me.  I own Gold but it is a gamble.  Are these lower prices permanent or contingent on 64 bit being released.  If the price goes up because of 64 bit and it is not added to Gold, I will be out of luck.  Does Waves give refunds to customers who buy individual plugins that are added to bundles they own?

Ok I bit and bought.  Now I have run into all kinds of installation garbage.  Quick question- do I get WUP support now that I have bought a new plugin?  My old WUP has expired:

    - when I bought the new plug- I noticed that waves 8 was available (had v7 on my computer).  Now old projects with waves v7 plugs wont load!!!
    - my ilok is not recognized on the ilok site.  I have reinstalled all drivers, etc to no avail!

This is way too much bother for one plug!  Any thoughts on the above?

Yea Munmun, ol pal, you've got to be careful with the new WOLI installer.  You only want to install the plug/version(s) you have and have purchased and not any earlier versions/plugs.  For instance...if the only new version 8 plug you've got now is the new EQ...then that's the only plug you need to install from the new version 8 installer AND DONT tell the installer to "update older versions of your other plugs" when it asks you.  Waves makes good stuff but they are waaaaay to paranoid (albeit with good reason) about copy protection and installation.  You'll also need to install the latest iLok drivers.  Then REBOOT.  HTH.

Are they the first to come with the simple but brilliant idea of adding a keyboard at the bottom of the graph?
