New X3...EZD2 problem....export audio
Was trying to do a quick "down and dirty" music project for a client yesterday (the first I've done using EZD2) and when I went to export audio to the desktop the drums would not export unless I used the "fast bounce" method. If I used real time audible bounce...no drums. I know that the multichannel routing bug is being worked on but this is a new problem. Anyone else seeing this??

OlPal, This project 48k? That's the issue with the routing bug, right? T

Yup...48k. This IS NOT a routing issue though. It just an exporting issue. But I suspect it's a bug.

I noticed some oddness with the EZDrummer 2 export when trying to bounce stems from a project last week. I'm away all this weekw so won't be able to test until i get home but I'll keep and eye on this thread.

The routing bug is NOT linked to 48K.
I'll try the bounce thing later.

Is this with the standalone version or within SONAR? I was under the impression that the standalone version was the only way EZD2 would export audio.

Nope...within Sonar. I generally just select all tracks (including EZD...now2) and export a stereo mix to the desktop. No problems before with plain ol EZD but EZD2 would only export if set to "fast bounce" and not audible real time bounce. Weird. Plus the routing thing IS connected to running at 48K, no??

I'm sorry, I misread you first post. I thought you were trying to use EZD2's export to audio files track bounce from it's song creator track. I always run at 44.1 and I see the multi-out routing issue in an old project done with the original EZD. So 48K isn't what's triggering the routing issue. No clue about that one.

Well I got an email from Toon that made me think that. They acknowledge it as an issue and said the workaround was to switch to 44.1 do your multi channel routing and then switch back to 48. So how is that NOT related to running at 48???

I don't run at 48k. Only at 44.1k I guess that's how..
