New X'er - Cakewalk Audio FX 1,2,3 plugs work in Win 7 64 bit?

I've just bought X3 Studio and am using it in Windows 7 64 bit.    I have some old Sonar project bundles (S7 and earlier) that use the old Cakewalk FX1, 2, 3 series plugins (see below).  It says it the latest OS for them is Win XP.  I understand they are not supported in Win 7 but are these plugs working for any of you in Win 7 64 bit via the built in bitbridge?

Thank you for your help!

Bitbridge only works with VSTs. These are 32bit DX effects. While it may be possible to run them by first wrapping the plug-ins in a DX-to-VST wrapper and then loading them via Bitbridge, you may find it is not worth the effort. They do work fine in 32bit SONAR.

Scook is right, I got those to work in the 32 bit version X2, but I found I never used them. even though they were installed I found the other plug ins to be much better. Breverb blows FX 3 out of the water. TH2 works much better than FX2, and the Sonitus Effects are much better than FX1. You won't need them.

    scook, Marcus,

Thanks.  I didn't realize that bitbridge only worked for VSTs.

FWIW, it wasn't a matter of me thinking that they were better than current offerings, it is just that I wanted my old projects to load as they were with these old plugins.  Then, after they loaded, and I heard how the mix was, I could substitute other plugs.
