New Year's Resolution: Uping My Marijuana Consumption
Since said consumption is 0 up to this point my resolution is to hitch hike at some point to Colorado. I Am studying cannabis editables such as brownies, cookies, gummy bears thus I plan on eating mass quantities like a conehead once I get there! I don't smoke so that is the answer. Munchkin to the max!

The issue with edibles is dose titration. Inhalation produces the maximum effect within a very short time. You will probably have time after your coughing fit subsides to assess the level of your stupidization to see if another toke is required for the desired level of dumb. The lag time from ingestion to maximum zonk using edibles may be as long as several hours, allowing you to surpass the optimum dose by a wide margin, which may not become evident until you find yourself struggling to figure out how to lift your face out of the cat box.

I had my first experience with edibles when I was 5 years old. Came home from school to find my dad baking cookies, which was unusual because he wasn't a cookie baking kind of guy. He made a batch for my brother and I, and an "adult" batch which we weren't allowed to touch. Well we ate ours pretty quickly and before you know it I was on my brother's shoulders getting the adult cookie jar down from the top shelf. We ate the lot.
I couldn't say what the actual dosage was but according to my dad it was quite a large chunk of the finest Moroccan hash. Thing was though, we were fine, albeit stoned out of our minds. And while I couldn't handle a trip like that today, I can't help thinking that since childhood is already a pretty trippy time of life, perhaps we just took it in our stride. My dad was pretty freaked out - should he take us to hospital and face the music, or just keep us under observation? He chose the latter. We stayed off school for a couple of days. Apparently my brother slept most of the time and I stayed up asking all sorts of dumb questions about outer space. The 70's were awesome, lol!
