New Yellow Tungsten theme
Here's the yellow theme about which I spoke earlier:  Here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r9lopc786tndabs/Tungsten%20Yellow.sth?dl=0 And with that, gentlemen (and ladies, if there are any present), I have finished themes through the color wheel to the secondary level (with duplications on several colors besides). There may be an indigo theme, but I'm not too hopeful about that.

I going to assume that you're asking me this question. If you're asking about which elements within Theme Editor I changed, there are hundreds (literally), but if you open Theme Editor, they're pretty obvious: most of the elements (within Tungsten) with that Amber/mustard-like color. In Paint.net, I almost exclusively used Hue, Saturation, and Lightness. This will be similar probably no matter which color/photo/paint editor you choose to use. I used the color menu a bit, but really very little once I got into it. I did use the magic wand tool to lift some of the red marks (the record "dot", the red "strike mark on clear automation buttons, and the red "a" on the act learn buttons) and copy them onto buttons.
I didn't play with the greys in Tungsten much at all, really. That's part of what I like about the theme: it's very neutral just the way it is.

Thanks for your theme developments man. I've tried a couple of them and was hope for a blue theme...which you made, so cool.
Someone posted the color strips once for the Tungsten theme...you know where the whole track has a 'tinge' of colour based on the color you select for the track. I think this would be great to use as I miss it from Mercury, but I love the overall theme color of Tungsten. Any chance you might develop this at some point?

That is a feature request. Currently any theme other than Mercury does not have the ability to apply colors to strips. That is why the Preference > Customization > Colors Track Strip section has the notice "Mercury theme only" next to the "Show strip colors" check box.

You're very welcome. And I agree with you. Someone suggested once to me, that with computer programs (and things similar) that people have to work with and look at, one is safer with a relatively neutral background color and one accent color (with that color mixed by black, grey, and white, of course). Any other colors should be sparingly used and related to given important functions or one runs the risk of loss of unity and the introduction of elements that can easily become a distraction. I've noted that the programs I find most attractive to work with (on an aesthetic level) seem to follow this rule. The dark vs. light arguments, though, tend to be more subjective.

On the master bus you can select waveform preview and it will draw a rough waveform in that track strip as the project plays. To change it in theme editor I just searched waveform and it was the only result. Looks like the path is theme> track view> bus pane> bus waveform preview. Like so: http://imgur.com/LapPlyb

Oh, yes, for sure, John. I don't consider that I "own" the themes in any sense of the word; that's not what I meant. (If that was the case, I'd had never done about half of them or shared them. The warm colored themes were for you guys. I'll doubt I'll ever use them, except maybe at Halloween and Christmas. Even then, I'd probably more often opt for black and green, respectively ). I was actually referring specifically to waveform preview button and its related color. When I first saw them I assumed they were related specifically to the Tungsten theme, but they are not; they are an ID (like "red" for "record") for the waveform function. The amber color is just a coincidence. I was just noting for the Tuneboxii and the readers of the post, so that, if they're into maintaining that sort of thing, they don't make the same mistake I did. I tried to aim for consistency in the themes I did.

Believe it or not, it's pretty clear that they didn't change it in Tungsten to match that theme; that's just a coincidence. The question is raised because in Mercury the waveform button to which the color corresponds is the same color- it's an ID color match (which is not to say someone can't prefer it changed), is the Tungsten accent color, and it would have no reason to be that color without the waveform preview default color matching the waveform preview button.

Also I'm colourblind, so the more bright yellow contrast, the better! :D
Please do feel free to suggest I missed something, please! I have a hard time believing that I was truly that thorough. If you find something, let out a yell or the equivalent. And if you're color-blind, you must really think the Theme Editor is a god-send. Good for you.
