New demo for Rapture Film Scoring Expansion pack from DSF

I have finally completed this demo after trying to fit it into everything else I have been doing.

Anyway for those interested in Rapture Expansion packs this is a demo for the Film Scoring Expansion pack. It is pretty well priced and definitely has got some great sounds on board.

There are 7 sections in the expansion pack and I have tried to cover them all in the demo. They are:

Modern, Transitions, Exotic, Strings, Winds, Score Pad, Sequenced

And here is the link to DSF if you are keen to buy it.

My demo is not on the DSF site yet as I have only just sent it to him. But check out that demo as well, there are some nice sounds in it too. My demo on SoundCloud is probably a better overall demo though. It covers much more ground than the existing demo does. It just goes to show what a great synth Rapture is. Also I highly recommend the Mini Moog Tribute expansion from Craig Anderton, that is a beauty as well. Fat is an understatement!

Nice demo, yes. Is the demo Rapture instruments only?

    Well done, Jeff!

Alegria: yes, Jeff used only Rapture to make the demo, as all honest demos should be made.

Thanks guys very much I appreciate it. It took long enough too. Look I tell a tiny fib here. Every sound is indeed a Rapture sound except in the very first section there are some big tom hits and that is me playing my Sonor drums and doing tom flams but that is the only foreign sound.

Everything else is Rapture for sure. The snare sound is in the expansion pack and there is a Shekere patch which is very nice and I used that to make the shaker like sound and also the kick would you believe through some serious digital manipulation. I tried very hard to make the tom sounds too but gave up in the end and just played those but I figured that would be OK. I wanted that explosive hit effect and there really is no other way to get it other than play some bloody toms! But yes everything else is Rapture for sure. The bass sound is in the Exotic section and is a bass marimba like patch and works well for bass. I did use some sounds from one section eg Exotic inside another section eg Winds. But I figured that was OK.

The last section (Sequenced) is cool though don't you think in terms of the patches. They are great to play with. They are all using the step sequnecer and it is fun to modify the step sequences too. Rapture sounds really fat in this section too.
