New from Hollow Sun - vKS70
Apart from effects (distortion > EQ > chorus/flange/phaser > echo > convolution reverb with custom impulses including room, spring, plate and hall), we've added a sub-octave for bottom end depth and the 'extra' waveforms that include sync sweep, cross mod clangs and the sorely missed PWM. Some other things too. The samples are recorded from subsonic clicks to tweeter bothering highs and are up to a minute in length to allow these quirky waveforms to 'breathe'. Very long (and seamless) loops as well.
It comes with 70 pesets/patches, many of which have been made by 'patchmeister', Ingo Weidner - lovely bloke who's done stuff for NI and Waldorf and others. We've done a fair few too - Mario's gone for the more extreme stuff whilst I have gone for maybe 'safer' and more generic things - pads, strings, big basses. You can hear some examples here...
https://soundcloud.com/hollow-sun/sets/vks-70-1This is one beefy synth with lots of possibilities - the bass end is extraordinary (especially with our UNISON playback mode engaged - which is VERY fruity) and strings and pads are smooth, some spikey percussive stuff in there too and serious leadlines. VKS70 is available now for £20
