New heavy metal rock weird crazy song.

I got laid off from work, so I decided to try to remember how to write a song! This one was all in one day. I just made up the melodies/vocals and lyrics on the fly too, so it really is aptly named A.D.H.D. I also think music is too serious sometimes so I really just had a fun time with this but, it is weird and crazy at times just to warn you guys. I also would like feedback on the levels, especially the vocals and the bass. AND what are some good effects for vocals? AND what is a good mic for yelling and singing into? I remixed the vocals a tiny bit and redid the drums. Hopefully the vocals aren't too quiet now.

Hey Robert good to hear from you. And I do love my baritone, I can't believe I've had it for over a year already! I need to play it more. Thanks for the comment but there's got to be some crits, I haven't done anything for so long I'm really rusty and I'm sure I overlooked something.

James glad you liked the guitars. When I started recording the vocals I had to mute the intro because it kept screwing me up since I seemed to not get rid of the expectation of a full bar.

I was pretty sure not many people would like it without a normal song structure so thanks for commenting guys.

nice stuff! this could easily be a Devin Townsend song, in its creativity, vocal inspiration, downtuned simple riff-but-good-heavy-**** style. wow nice. i mean not my type of stuff really, but i appreciate well-played original music. i'd say not enough hooks to be a hit song, but a really really good alt-metal song. congrats!

While not a genre that I listen to much, I liked it. Guitars are good AND most important, you had enough twists and turns to keep me listening!

Very creative and pro-level sounding. Mix is excellent. Almost reminds me of old Zappa.

Anyway, on to better things! Your tune rocks :) Agree with other comments about the vocals, and I love the fact it jumps around and does weird stuff! Reminds me of some of the eclectic parts in songs by System Of A Down.

Although I have nothing like this on my MySpace page, I used to play lead guitar and sing in a metal/thrash band *many* years ago! Might inspire me to have another crack at it if I can get a decent guitar sound!

I see you've used Guitar Tracks, have you tried Guitar Rig 3 and what's your opinion on the two if you have?

Some very creative material here man. I still love your voice, it suits this very well. Man those are some chunky guitars, whats that tuned down to? I love the slower mellow part near the end. Levels sound perfect here. Very cool peice.
