Not yet, should be imminent as Namm starts in two days. The original Numa Compact was $399 list and can be had for $300 street nowadays. But this new version has 88 sounds (1 GB) instead of 10 and also adds aftertouch, so I'm guessing $499.

here's the manual I'm reading at the moment: http://studiologic-music....NumaCompact-Manual.pdf The keyboard, which thank the simulation is NOT weighted.... "The NUMA Compact offers the touch technology by Fatar: the keyboard TP9-Piano. The NUMA Compact weighs just 6,4 kg and is therefore very portable, yet it offers a great keyboard touch, for which Fatar is famous. Unfortunately, midi implementation is limited, does not appear able to reconfigure controller knobs/buttons... this is a real shame. It is a VERY limited controller. Also, does not support Aftertouch. My excitement has cratered.

Why anyone today would not support aftertouch boggles the mind. My old 76 key synth had it but it's 61 key counterpart I'm now using doesn't. Adding midi cc's for it is hardly a compromise.

If you click the link in the first post and then click the specs page, the first section at the top says the keyboard has aftertouch.
- 88 Keys, TP/9 PIANO semi-weighted Action
- Dual switch detection system
- Aftertouch

I based my conclusion from skimming the manual and focusing on the midi implementation chart....which did NOT mention aftertouch, had just a few CC controls like modulation & volume, and stated that if not listed, all the other midi controllables were NOT supported. It is a VERY limited, nearly USELESS "MIDI" controller. nice to see aftertouch IS part of the deal but nontheless, this keyboard is virtually USELESS as a controller. It is sad as I've been looking for something like this but as I said before... as a controller, this thing sucks.

Yeah it sure sounds like it. Its a shame too because from the looks of it, they were close to filling a much needed niche in the market. Close but no cigar.

Sure hope they'll look into this again and rectify. Would indeed be a shame, V-man.
