New music: 15 Minutes

Here is some new music. It's more of a protest song on the state of what passes for talent these days and how it has impacted the unrecognized talents of the world.  If you find it appropriate for the climate in which we live in, pass it along, maybe some of these folks can go away or at least not have the light shining on them as much.

I'm confused, I feel this song/video is promoting what you claim to be protesting.

Well, I found this interesting, though I must confess to a blessed obliviousness to pop culture, and had no idea who half the people were.  I think you've got an important message to deliver, but I'm not sure this is the most effective delivery.  I'm no screenwriter or video expert, but some things that I felt might work better were- A less angry and more 'tongue in cheek' narrative with mock praise for the 'infamous.'  The music was good, but I'm not sure it worked for me in context.  This could be a matter of personal taste, but it will be interesting to see what others think.

A final thought is- how can anyone pick out the talented but under-recognized artists out of the virtual sea of such people?  The ones you chose would not necessarily be known to your audience.  Maybe a scrolling list of 'credits' in a split screen with some of the folks you're lampooning might be a neat thing.  Just thinkin' out loud here.

Brave effort with a great theme.
