    That was my first thought.

Yeah! I'll stick with my own knob, I get plenty of use out of it, works perfectly and very satisfying to boot!!

I am unclear whether the target is newbs or professionals in a hurry.  Either way just seems weird that a company like Waves would be dumbing things down and then only include the plugs into the platinum bundle that no newb would buy.

If the whole shootin match was priced under $100 it would sell like hotcakes.  As it is the retail price of each individual plug is $80 and the bundle is $400.  That's nuts for what amounts to a "more effect" knob.  I'm with SongCraft on this one.  I've already got a knob (although, really, it's just about worn to a frazzle) and I'll just stick with it.

All this talk of knobs points to something very freudian in this product.  Do you think that names like driver, phatter, pressure and WETTER are a coincidence?????
