New pricing structure questions - URGENT

Trying to decide on my upgrade options today before the pricing goes up tomorrow to full retail price, so I'm hoping someone from Cakewalk can answer my questions below.

In the blog by Alex in March about the new pricing, someone asked about the pricing when renewing membership after this first year. He "confirmed" that if you do the one-time payment option of $199 for Platinum now, then to renew you would pay half the current retail price next year, which would be $250. (Way to expensive for me to do that soon, BTW.) But the monthly option sounded way better the second in the official wording for the new structure. So someone responding to the blog point blank asked, if you do the monthly payments of $19.99 per month the first year, would you indeed only pay half of that monthly cost you've been paying when renewing for the second year instead of paying half the current retail monthly cost -- so that would mean basically $10 per month vs. $25 per month. Alex's response was, "Yes, I think you have that right." Which doesn't sound definite. Can someone confirm?

Also, I'm considering Professional instead of Platinum, so would the same apply there? And with Professional, you don't get the full Dimension Pro or Rapture, plus some other things that I currently have with my SONAR X3 version, so can I use those versions from X3 in Sonar Professional?

And thirdly, if I upgrade to either Platinum or Professional, when it comes time for renewal, and I choose not renew, but decide to renew maybe the following year, does my cost to renew revert to full retail price - $499 or whatever it is at the time?

I'm hoping someone can let me know ASAP today so I can get on board with the upgrade before midnight. Thanks.

The full versions of DPro and Rapture bundled with X3 Producer will work in any DAW. You may get faster answers to your pricing questions by sending an email to Cakewalk Pre sales, pretty sure they work on Sundays. Note: the button at the bottom of the page I linked to send them an email.

Thanks! I did send an email to pre-sales first, but thought they might be closed today and that the forum might provide quicker answers. Good to know about the ability to use DPro and Rapture from X3 in SONAR Professional.
