I agree with Rimshot, your mother should be proud of you.  Just when I thought the song was in the same place too long, you changed it up and caught my interest again.  Good effort.

Agree with the other sentiments here. I enjoyed the song :) Just a couple of suggestions (and they're just personal preference). - Maybe boost the strings on the buildup around 3:17. It feels like you could maybe build up the "suspense" a little more. - Possibly add something over the last chorus/verse. Maybe a high lead synth melody. These are really just suggestions, and it's probably a style thing. Other than that, it's a good, catchy song and I'm sure your Mum would be proud. Good job :)

Liked the sound of it, the mix as well, but it never really went anywhere musically. The beat needs to change up with the sections more.

As my mother-in-law just got rushed to the hospital this afternoon, the title is quite compelling.

    Hi everyone ...
Rimshot & Lynn, thanks so much for the positive comments.

I do agree with drummerGlyn's & jamesyoyo's ideas, and plan on revisiting those repetitive, areas.
I would like the song to go out in melodic cascading synth's ... we'll see what happens.

    Thanks again everyone!

Well I liked the intro, the track is very Emerson Lake and Palmer.

Yea it seems to meander like James has mentioned but then again a lot ELP's later stuff never went anywhere either.

You seem to have the chops in terms of playing and recording, the only thing I can say is when you write, a tune can go anywhere let your imagination fly.

    Peace Ben
