New song: It's ok

Here's something we are working on right now. Nylon String main guitars. Ballad feel. Lap Steel Solo.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

This is a really pretty tune, Erik.

Those nylon strings are sweet. Lovely arrangment and mix...except i think the vocal is a tad shy.

    Nice work.

Erik, nice piece of music smooth and mellow. Nice recording on this as is the production and I also liked the changes in this track. Thanks for sharing the piece.

Excellent ballad in a 'wind beneath my wings' style.

Immaculate sounding production and execution means you can't get away with the timing glitch on the Bass @ 1:17.

Loads of emotion in the vox and a dream of a dreamy slide solo in there.

A really lovely tune, Great stuff.

yup, the acoustic sounds sweet. Overall the production seemed solid, although the bass seemed a bit to far forward and a bit high pitched. I found the tone somewhat fatiguing. A deeper tone would be welcome here.

Nicely done and a very mellow and relaxing song.

    Cheers

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions!

Jonbouy. You are absolutely right. I have been cringing at that one each pass. Ausiosnap to the rescue!
Fox. I think you are right about the bass. I'll play with it and reel it in a little.
No how. I also agree that the vox could come up a bit.

Again, thanks everyone for listening and sharing your thoughts!

LOL, the saying goes if you think you might get away with it.....You haven't...

It's funny, you always KNOW when you're doing the take that its happened but some sort of denial kicks in to say it'll heal all by itself somehow, hail Audiosnap such a groovy thing...

beautiful clean crisp recording. I love the way the drums and bass sit in the mix.

The classical guitar sounds good, I may mix them down "just a weence". During the vocal, they seem a little too present to me.

Interesting use of percussion on the break.

    Nice vocal work.

On the whole, this is a really neat eclectic song!

    It's better than OK Erik!

I love the dreamy feel of this and the guitar solo just tops off a great piece of work for me.

    Enjoyed this a lot

Excellent songwriting, with inventive guitar harmonies! The mix is spacious and warm at the same time!

If anything I think the vocals could benefit from being even dryer and more upfront, but that's nitpicking!

    Great stuff!

    Sven

By the way, Erik Runge sounds Norwegian. Are you?
