Another one late to the party... I've read all the comments here and it appears I've missed out on hearing the developments.

Not what I would normally listen to (I always say that... sorry) but I liked what I heard.

I treated myself to a PRS a couple of years ago (I posted a pic in the coffee house at the time). All I need to do now is learn how to play it. They are beautiful guitars for sure

Andy, I'm glad you liked what you heard.  I appreciate your time and patience.  This song has evolved quite a bit since batsbrew first heard it.  He and many others contributed greatly.  This is a great place to whip yourself into shape.

All the best,
Lynn

Cool song.
The mix sounds fine to me, and the guitars works very well.

Not sure what you changed, Lynn, but to my ear the busy, busy guitar riff now doesn't seem to interfere with the vocals. Whole thing is smoothed out and working better.

Roger, thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.  I appreciate your kind words.

Larry, I'm not sure what changed, but my last update was on the 6th, so I'm not sure when you heard it before.  I may have taken your advice!  I'm glad it's working better for you, now.  Thanks, again, for your time and response.

All the best,
Lynn

Late to the party too. Sounds fun and good to me.  Glad you got some new toys to work with...and great help here!  I'm going to be annoying and say that the snare or sidestick that starts around 1:38 isn't doing anything for me.  But I must admit, I'm not that familiar with how the stick is supposed to sound.  And I also wouldn't know how to fix it.  So...if you and everyone else are happy with it, leave it alone. :)

Good job!  Good playing, good vocals, good tune, and good fun. :)

Janet, the party doesn't start without you.  Your comment about the sidestick nearly sent me off to Guitar Center for some new drumsticks, then I realized that I used my fingers.  Thanks for your kind words!

Shawn, I'll work on that cowbell!  Thanks for your time and comments, old buddy.

I guess I'm late to the party also.  I thought that I already commented on this but I must be in the middle of a senior moment.
Great sounding song and mix Lynn.  You got a lot of good comments above -- so, no suggestions here.  I like the wide mix that you have put on this number.  I get a wee bit of a Cream sound on this number.  Was that intentional?

Great job buddy!

Thank you, Freddy!  I must admit that I played "Sunshine Of Your Love" and "White room" more than a few times back in the day, but any resemblance to Cream is entirely coincidental/accidental.

That's interesting..... I skipped a number of the comments..... but Dave... bitflipper nailed it... needs COWBELL....

I like Bat's description too.... metal hoedown...

Either way, it sounds like you had fun with the new toys.

Lynn - just come back for another listen.
I was the awkward early arriver to the party - you know, the person you feel like you have to talk to and entertain but really you need to be putting chips and dip out and tidying up before the party really starts.
Sounds really good mate - guitars are really really nice
