Really well done track, all the way around. From an "what I like" perspective, I would have liked the harmonies on "...left me hurtin'..." to hang on between phrases and not exactly follow the lead vocal, but that's just me. Regards, Dan

This song is very well written and performed, and what I like about it is that you didn't go for overkill in the production. That being said, I struggled to hear the fine piano and bass parts. Also, though the snare comes through, I couldn't hear the other drums as well. This song is worth a remix and a remaster because I thought that the mix was a little low in volume. This is a gem in waiting.

Dan, Thanks for your remarks. I know what you mean about the harmonies. At this stage they are a sort of "place holder", as I'm negotiating with a couple female backing singers to do the real thing. Lynn, I appreciate your comments, on reflection, it will be getting a remix, once I get the girls on. Cheers.

You certainly have captured a neo-country sound and did a good job on the mixing. Like Lynn I appreciate the fact that this is not "over produced." I believe that this would have good commercial value. I agree with the comments about harmonies or BGV's but it also stands on its own with out them. Nice one!
