New song- Tyrannical (metal/hard rock)

hey guys.
Just finished this about an hour ago. I listened to what you guys said about my previous song, and I think I successfully applied that stuff to this new one. I'm still learning and I'm not exactly working with professional equipment, but I think this one came out pretty well. If you have a few minutes, give it a listen.

Feedback is always welcome

Ryan, this has the quintessential metal guitar tone and solo.  You have that much down pat.  However, the rest of the mix is problematic.  The vocals are so buried that they are indiscernible.  Maybe that's the way you want it, but that's far from the norm for this genre.  The toms sound like cardboard and take much of the energy level away from the drums.  And, overall, the mix seems to lack punch even though you're playing some kick-ass parts.  Perhaps, if you A/B your mix with someone similar, you can fill in the blanks yourself.  Still, this has promise with a few tweaks and is waiting to be stellar with the right mix.  Good luck!

    All the best,
    Lynn

I'm with Lynn on this one...  The guitar has that nice metal crunch, with just enough buzz to really cut through.  But the drums seem to lack any high end so they come across "cardboard-ish".  I think the vocals might sit better with the guitars panned away from center to leave room, and perhaps just a little less reverb (delay instead?).  Also, I can hear the bass pop through at times but mostly the guitar seems to be carrying the song.

Overall...  Definitely worth working on the mix IMO.
