New song "Torn Between My Choices"
Hi all, My new song is "Torn Between My Choices". The meaning has something to do with the choices we have to make some times that are between wrong and right. It would be great if I would have done the right thing 100 % of the time. I did get better. I've been doing more writing now days, but thought it was about time I upload a song http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_10662764 Cheers, Terry http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_10662764

Hey, your voice reminds me a little of the singer in Smashin' Pumpkins -- very clean recording - nice sound, esp. snare & bass. Would like to hear some vocal harmonies to fill it out, tho. Like the tag - esp. the cool little bass lines. Allan www.youtube.com/user/Kittibutt

Nice song and performances! The voice is centered right where it needs to be, but it could stand to be louder so that we don't have to strain to hear the lyrics.

Hi, Terry, Good job on this fresh sounding pop ballad! The nicely textured piano and strings provide a smooth bed for your great vocals. I do agree with Scotty about possibly bumping up the vocals just a little bit during the verses, and also with Abull about maybe adding one harmony part to the choruses, just to add another layer of texture to the chorus. Dynamite job, Terry! Bob

very good so far... I think an 8th note, rhythm guitar strum, and some vocal harmony would really make this tune shine... Well done...

This is yet another cool pop song from you. I just heard you for the first time last week, and I believe that people with distictive styles can go far. I agree with those that suggest vocal harmonies in the chorus would give this a lift. Whether or not you go that route, this is still a nice song.

Good comments above. The word "torn" in the chorus is a little pitchy. Vocal is too soft. Rimshot

Cool song , vocals I agree need to be raise up some . The drum track almost sounds like you added too much reverb , I would do something about that in your mix . Nice one ! radio

Yea the torn is a bit pitchy. Send the string back a bit. The drums could do with a "stop" of a fill somewhere, gets a little boring. Still having said that the song has potential to me. Cian
