Chanson formidable, Olivier! Votre voix est parfaitement adapté à la langue française. Pas d'anglais requis. I'm now out of French; back to English.

Very nice Olivier. I really like your voice and French is a beautiful language. The vocal may be slightly loud on the mix. Guitars sound great.

Hi John , Thanks a lot for your comment, glad you like the song. Merci beaucoup😀 Hi Daryl, Thank you, In fact I made some efforts in the past to learn to write songs in french and still keep a kind of " pop" feeling. I will look forward lowering the vocal. Cheers. Olivier

Hi Dan,
Thanks for your comment.
I'm glad you liked the mix because it is clear you have a knowledge about how a good mix sounds ( like quite a lot of guys in this forum..)
The fact is that sometimes I get some luck with a mix( that's how things are going when one doesn't master a subject)
But I do admit that this time I tried to give an help to luck.
Partly with tips collected here and partly with trials and errors
The main thing I tried to do was to make the mixing task less heavy by looking towards having the best sound I could get in the recording step . And indeed the mixing stage went quite easily with rather less processing than usually.
Thanks again.
Cheers. Olivier

Although my French is very rudimentary I understood bits of it, this is because the vocal is clear and has been very well recorded. Very well produced :)

Wookiee Very nice song worked well here, thanks for sharing. Hi John, Thanks for listening
Hi Rik, Thank you,I will have a look with the guitar,I don't want it to take over the song but once ,a friend of mine told me:" If you lower too much something you want to retain in the back of the scene, then you will get the opposit result because the listener will instinctivly focus on this part which is too low to hear it"
Hi Adrian, Thanks a lot for your comment.
All the best. Olivier

I didn't understand a word of it, but that doesn't matter 'cause it sounds good. I have to agree with biodiode that the vocals are really clear, recorded and mixed well. And yes, the guitars sound great. I use Craig's amp sims quite often too - they're simple and just work. The Strat's tone comes across nicely!

Hi Steve, Thank you , I agree with you concerning CA amp simulations ,they are easy to use.And the Strat is a whole story in itself. Glad you liked the tune. Hi Mark, Thank you for listening and posting. Cheers. Olivier
