New song/video that attacks the FDA & Monsanto - Recorded all in Sonar!
Hi, Cakewalk family! I'd love feedback on my latest song/video, recorded entirely in Sonar X2. Let me know what you think and if you dig it, give a thumbs up on the video & subscribe. Thank you for taking the time to watch & listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0lPo544Aog

Nice mix, it obviously supports your video superbly! Musically, I could have done with a different hi-hat/cymbal sound. But I don't think that's worth fixing, it doesn't hurt the message, which is most important here. I liked your synth-bassy bass. I'm curious, what was your video editing program? And, whew! That's a lot of clips to RoundUp. :) cheers, -Tom

Thanks for the feedback, Tom! The drums were done with the Dave Smith Tempest and the synth is from a Novation Bass Station 2. I edited the video with FCPX. It was indeed a lot of clips!

An interesting song, with an important message, for sure. The video was a bit disturbing, and there are many peeps who just don't want to know. Song wise, yeah that was okay, and it gets a message across in a fun way, along with a fun, if somewhat disturbing video. Nice work, on both song and video cheers andy

Thanks, Andy. Disturbing indeed although you should see what hit the cutting room floor if you really wanna know what disturbing is. I made it a point to only include stuff that was alarming, but not disgusting. I really appreciate your feedback!

I can well imagine mate... I, for one, just blindly buy packaged stuff without even giving a thought into what went into bring that "thing" to the table.

Obviously the message is key, but the video was simply a trip! The song sounds good here... I probably would have also made some minor changes with the drum sounds and maybe overall width, but as Tom said it doesn't distract from the message. PS... In the end I'm with Andy - I mostly don't want to know "what's in it".
