sounds good to me i think the detune works you sacrifice sonic real estate by making them any more lush could probably use some of that real estate to make your drums a bit deeper/phatter this reminds me of early classic 70s r&b brought to date, cool groove, where are you going with it?

Nice bass grove going on and the flute seems to be the main character in the song. For that reason I would make it less spacey JMO. The bass in this mix is a solid anchor and has a nice groove, but I though it was missing some of that deep kick. For a 70's vibe that really isn't necessary, because they didn't do that as much then, but if you want it to sound more current, I would add some more kick to that bass and make it deeper in places that agree with EQ and the rest of the song.

Hey ! Thank you for your comments.Yes the flute is defo one of the main elements in the track. Do you mean make arrangment more spacey so the flute stands out more ?? Or make the flute more spacey by using verb and delay ? At the minute Im just splashing some delay around it,and I like what this effect is bringing. For the bass, yes I can hear that too,its something I should look at. Thanks for listening !!!! Kev
