It works. Now get some melody and lyric ideas and flesh it out.

@jamesyoyo: Thanks for checking. I kind of have the melody... but the lyrics is a major struggle...

Look out your window, and write about something that interests you. Don't worry about a theme or anything, just write and then noodle around.

For example if you have a rockin chair you sit in you could write lyrics about that . LOL

Sitting in my rocking chair rockin out all day long ,
With my feet on the floor this old rocker is one hell of a rocking chair,
Hard maple it might be old this baby is one sweet rocking chair

Any topic works , you can find lyrics with just about anything around you , inside or outside , its all in your MIND !

    Music doesn't sound bad , its a start . Good luck !

I will agree with all above. Now you have to work on all the tracks as to volume, compression, limiter, reverb, stereo imaging, harmonic exciter, equalization,  and mastering the mix. It is done on each track and then all put together for a top notch quality sound. You do have the tools in your Sonar package, so play with them as you put all the tracks together. Welcome to the Cakewalk Forum. Have fun and keep learning, you'll love it.

Peace be with you. Blessings, John

It sounds like an AC/DC song.

    Nice job!

Yeah, your off to a good start. You'll learn the tools as you work with them more. Everyone seems to find their own work flow for their music. Lots of good advice in the techniques, projects and hardware forums.

Well done - very catchy - initial tracks sound pretty good to me. I'd be interested to hear it finished.

Thanks you very much for the replies! I have a question. After exporting my recordings volume level gets lower. Would anyone know why? Humanrod :)
