New user of ARC

Hi, I'm using Sonar XI. I use Ozone4 for mastering. I understand using ARC for mixdown, but do I use it for mastering my final mix as well (2-track stereo wave)?

Sure.  Just make sure you remember to disable ARC when you do your final export.  But if you use your ears as part of the mastering process (and who would not?), then it would be counter-productive to not use the same room correction for both mixing and mastering.

    Let me reiterate.

ARC is not an FX you apply to mixes.

ARC is what you use in your room (after tuning ARC to your room) while you mix or master.

ARC is meant to correct (through EQ) your audio output (via near field monitors) based on the short comings of your room (i.e. a 6db boost in bass freqs in your room are compensated for).

You do not export a mix or a master with ARC enabled. Your mix or master will (guarnteed) sound like arse if you leave ARC enabled.

Now my mixes or masters already sounds like arse, but that is not ARC's fault.
