New user problem?

I have made a simple beat just to see if I can figure out how to play or burn it onto a disc... I tried exporting audio, A message that read could not read format keeps apearing...I know this sound stupid but its getting me agrevated...I read the manual...No help...Please if anyone has the info I need, I would really apreciate it..
