New version of Sonar?
Hey, I haven't been trolling around here much recently - been busy making music! What's the latest on a new version of Sonar? Seems like this is about the time they have released new versions in the past. Is a new version coming out soon? When? Features? Thanks.

Last I heard, there's not much more than speculation at this point. Currently, rumor has first quarter of next year as the likely release date (although many contrary theories have been proposed).

PH68 Is there an actual need for a new version of Sonar? I'd say yes. If you believe half the threads on here, they've had eight and a half goes at it already and it doesn't work properly so they definitely need to try again........

S7, while it touts being 64bit submarine compatible, wasn't ready for the new Cubase and ProTools variants of subs and therefore can't detect all subs without the help of the J-bridge subs. admittedly, some subs still can't be detected in S8.5 without j-bridge but the list is getting incrementally better. by S9, ALL enemy subs will be detectible. and all your base are belone to us!

You don't need Sonar to find subs, just check your local sand bank...
