New version update for Miroslav Philharmonik

Hi folks,

I thought I would mention to anyone that is a Miroslav user that there is a update for the program and the nice thing is that you don't need to use the iKey anymore. The update was just put up on 12-19-06 and it is 1.0 to a 1.1 version.

Dell E520 Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHZ 1066FSB 4G of RAM. Sonar4 Producer, 2 Lacie Ext HD 250 GB for audio & 500 GB for programs, Behringer Truth B2030A Monitors, Philharmonik Miroslav, BFD, BFD Percussion & BFD Deluxe. Tascam DM-3200 w/IF-FW

A welcome update to be sure! The samples will run inside Sampletank now, too, which is very cool! (no CSR in Sampletank though,,,)

CSR is scheduled to lose it's dongle, too. Hopefully the strategy of dropping the dongle will work out for IK. I like there stuff, but always got bashed about dongles whenever I said so. Philharmonik is great!

I think Amplitube 2 is brilliant. But nothing with a dongle makes it to my system. The day after they dropped the dongle, I ordered it.

For me, I *had* to accept a dongle to run pro tools m-powered. I wish to god I didn't but am collaborating w/ users who run pro tools, so no choice. That being said -- I'm having no problems with the ILok dongle/pace drivers. On my system, at this particular date, for the moment . . . there has been no problems. I might get over my hatred of pace if it keeps being problem free.

I worry as well that it will just be the future of things. Have ya'all heard about the new hardware DRM chip that is going to start being included in motherboards?

Yeah, I haven't had any problems with the dongle key in the 6 months of owning Miroslav but I know there are alot of people on this website that can't stand using a program that takes a dongle key. It's great to see that IK made some inhancemenets for this product.
