New video...of course using Sonar for the audio

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDevpk6liyk

Hello all....  First be warned, this video is 15+ minutes long, but hopefully you'll find it entertaining as well as instructional.  This is going to be a first of many videos that I am starting to do, and watching it will show the direction I am wanting to go.  Basically discussing Worship sound, recording and playing music at a quality level, but on a budget, and items of that sort.  I'm trying to take a casual approach, but also offer some info, in a "conversation" sort of way.  Not just a strict tutorial style.

Hope you enjoy and of course any comments for improvement in ANY area are appreciated.  I believe Sonar is making it easy to get a half decent sound...and still working on the lighting and other video components!

Thanks in advance ;-)

Great idea, there is always a market for instructional videos and I hope you do well. I did listen to the end and I thought that maybe the video could have more of a structure, so that you're not flitting between subjects, or covering the same thing twice. I'm sure your delivery will improve as you gain experience in this field. Good job.

thx 007.  Yes, watching back certainly reveals the areas that need improvement.  I certainly appreciate your time in watching and commenting here.  The "delivery"....yeah that's the tough part...not saying; "um...ah..."
I'm intentionally trying to keep a casual atmosphere, but will watch covering items in a more structured manner.

They say practice makes perfect and so as you continue your journey with this you will certainly gain more confidence and become more instructional with this work.  I to listened to the end and found it very relaxing and personal as well as did learn a bit about some older Roland equipment that I didn't know. I have a Casio keyboard which at the time it was purchased (1998) was the best unit they had out at the time. My wife got it for me for a Christmas gift. I too work on a budget, which is a retirement budget, but have everything I need, for the various music I create. I enjoy making my own samples and loops and incorporating them into some of my work. As for guitar the best purchase I ever made was a Digitech GNX4 processor, which allows me to set up my Yamaha  mixer, guitars, microphones, keyboards, monitors and amplifiers all thru the single unit. From what I could see in the background of your video, it look as though you have guite a setup going in your room there. Enjoyed meeting the dogs and wish you well with your musical/video adventure.

    Peace and Blessings, John

wow...thx for the kind words.... Yes, hope to improve.

Making your own samples sounds labor intensive...I have not gone that route  ;-)

THANKS so much for watching.  It is very much appreciated..mainly the comments on improvement and just your encouragement.
