Newb workspace setup question

   I am a 100% newb. I bought X1 Studio a week ago and have been picking away at things a bit each night as time permits. I am going through the SONAR X1 Explained video series. I am on the 10th video, Soft Synth  Setup & Recording and have been noticing something different about the narrator's environment than my own that I can't figure out how to change.
   In his setup, the volume, pan, vel+ inputs/outputs, etc. listed right beside his track. My out-of-the-box setup is not like that and I can't figure out whether it is just that he is demo-ing from a version that has changed since mine or if its a setup thing that I just haven't done properly. I have included two screenshots. The first shows his setup, the second; mine.
    Any help getting my setup to match theirs is appreciated.

Also see the strip at the left side..click on the double arrows or hit "I" and that is the inspector and has all the MIDI widgets there.

That is one of the things that I find really bizarre. Whoever set up the default template left the widget manager on "Custom" hence hiding most of them.

Please, please CW change it back to "All" to stop this sort of confusion for new users. I know it's a simple thing for a user to do but this case proves that getting in to Sonar is made more complicated than it need be.

@HuntJason - If you open a new project change the widget manager to all as suggested then "save as" and save that as your normal template it will be like that for all future new projects.
