Newbie Needs Help

I just installed and cannot get any audio. It tells me that I have not selected any Midi outputs. The only thing that pops up when i choose select is under output Microsoft Midi Mapper. I have Sigma Tel Audio and it seems to be set up properly as the driver? Anyone have any suggestions, do I need another driver or are my setting messed up?

    Most common question on the forum, go to options/audio and set the playback and record devices to MME drivers, then Microsoft synth GS will appear

    I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!
