Newbie to Sonar...Got Steam sonar edition.

So i've been doing research on wobble bass. I've seen tutorials on it but a lot of them are for Z3ta+ on FL studios...
I'd like some tips or techniques to get a wobble bass sound. I've tried the tutorials and I just get lost so any feedback would be great.
 
If there's anyways someone can explain it to me that would be great, thanks.

    Could you link to the tutorial you are looking at? Might help identify where things are going wrong when trying to follow in Sonar.
