No Engineering FX Suite in CCC
Forced to do a complete reinstall and I'm almost back to where I was before but can't find the Engineering FX Suite in CCC or in my account downloads page. Anyone know why? Thanks

IDK but if you installed it with the Command Center before and did not clear the installer from the download folder, it will still be there even though it is not listed in the Command Center. The path to the download folder is shown in the Command Center setup screen paths tab. Click the gear in the upper right of the Command Center UI to open set up. The default path is C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads. ProgramData is a hidden folder. If the installer is in the download path, run it from there.

Thanks for your input scook unfortunately acronis image let me down when I really needed it and I was forced to reinstall windows leaving my SSD and HD blank. I manually opened (not installed) the faulty Acronis image backup on my laptop and at C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads. Is a copy of "EngineeringFXSuiteSetup 1.0.5.41.exe" Questions... Would I be able to copy this file to my desktop DAW and install from there? I can't recall if I need a serial number to install? You are a wealth of knowledge, as always I thank you for your input.

No serial number required, If you can restore the installer, it may be run from anywhere.

Yup that worked a treat and my adaptive limiter is back :) So I've learnt a few things, I was not going to bother reinstall things like the BigFishAudio, ThemeEditor. But I realise there's no need to RE-download as I already have the .exe file. Also I'm yet to install "Z3TA2.2.3.51" and can install the same way. Although I suppose it will not show Green in the CCC as it won't know I installed it, meh no big deal. Anyways your a champ scook, wish I could shout you a beer or three

Put the installers in the Command Center download folder and use the Command Center to install them. The Command Center checks the download directory before downloading files. If the installers are there, it uses them.

Just so other reading this will know If your planning on re building your computer or installing to a second machine make a back up copy of the CCC download folder Found c/program data/cakewalk/Command center. You can transfer this to your new system or if you building a second workstation. New system: Install Command center and don't run it yet. Now copy all the files from your back up CCC download folder to the new CCC download folder. Now run CCC and it will use those files instead of downloading. Your install will go super fast this way. If there is a new version of any of the files ( not likely now) it will update that file. If your C drive is a smaller SDD you can now safely delete the files from the CCC download folder once they are installed to save drive space. Just keep a couple of backups on your data drives or externals.

While you're at it, back up those CCC install files to an external drive or DVD. And try not to do what I did last week, which was to drop the backup drive onto concrete while juggling multiple things while locking the studio door. I bought a padded hardshell case for the replacement USB drive.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

I'm seeing it in CCC. It's the second entry down when you unfold the Sonar group. I'm using Version 1.1.7.1 which is a somewhat older version...maybe there's a newer version that's different?

Yea, I still have it listed but that did not help the OP so I did not mention it. v1.1.7.1 is the last version of the Command Center.
