No Leash LAW?

I was walking my poodle today when a ,over 100 lbs, Rottweiler came charging but not getting through a chain linked fence. He had a Pit Bull buddy with him. Both were massive. Lucky there was a fence! I immediately when home and changed me and my dogs' pants.

I bet that was scary. (not as scary as being chased down the street by Bapu trying to stab you with an ink pen but scary I bet.)

I am glad there was a fence.

    Thanks

AH, guess you won't be walking near the junkyard again, huh?

Glad it all turned out okay.  I mention junkyard, because years ago I was riding my bicycle past a junkyard, with my first Huksy, Jackson, and 2 German Shepherds escaped through the fence.  I had Jackson's leash around my handlebars, and in the ensuing growl-fest, I bit the dust on the bike.  Jackson showed he was alpha dog, tho, and I can remember laying on the ground bleeding and watching the Shepherds race back inside the junkyard.

your dog looks happy Bill. Keep walking. Were you close to the fence? Some dogs are totally untrained by their owners and some owners love their dogs to just go nuts and some dogs are pretty protective of their turf. I'm sure you know all this. I just felt like responding. My and my 5 dogs are doing well.

Yeah... a poodle is the pits....

My sister in law has something called a Bishon?... I call it a poodle cause it sure looks like one...and acts like one too.

I learned some time back, it's not the size of the dog, it's the size of the fight in the dog...  My current pooch, Beagle/Bulldog mix is gentle as a puppy but when it comes to other dogs, he plays the alpha dog part very well.

BTW: my dog and the bishon play together very nicely.... quite surprising .....

A euphemism if I ever hear one.

My sister-in-law was walking one of her pa-pillions in Florida when it was mauled by a pit-bull not on a leash. The sad thing is that this wasn't the pit bull's first incident. Sadly, my sister had to put the dog to sleep.

My sweetheart lost her dog to a Rottweiler6 months ago. One bite is all it took. BTW, this is the poodle that I bought that @$%^@ for our 35th wedding anniversary but the dog wouldn't have anything to do with her and went straight to me. This dog Cricket helped me through my cancer recovery. I got a go ahead from my Doc after all the treatments to buy this puppy for %#^^&^. Cricket was the only creature I had to talk to for a long long time. I was basically abandoned in a back room. Anyway, She has a special place in my heart. Till I got her I only used poodles for juggling.

HI JANET! Things are going great cept' I can't find any cats around. New hobby and all.
Having much fun with X-1 and working on my classical chops. I can't seem to find the time to get a song recorded but I have 5 WIP's. I'm happy with my playing and spending much time on TONE!!! Hopefully I can get that sound on to my PC. My house still hasn't sold up there but folks are coming by a couple times a week. My son's moving from Lebanon to St. Louis to look for a nursing job. I love your last song! I haven't forgot about your music. I won't post anything and will send an MP3 for your approval.
It's nice that more CH people are meeting! I wish for the time when we can all get together and JAM!! THAT would be wonderful and so much fun.

Good for you, Bill!  I'm glad you're playing.  And I hope your house sells soon.  Also hope your son gets a good job.  My son finally got a photography job...something he's been wanting for a couple years.

Can't wait to hear your next one.  Yeah, a big CH jam would be so much fun!  :-)
