No Sound from Session Drummer

I've assigned drums to session drummer.  I can see the drums playing in the session drummer view screen but can't hear anything.  I've assigned the Session Drummer Out to the same as the other instrument outs (which are playing fine) but nothing from Session Drummer.

Thoughts?

Thx,

Mike F.

When you say "I've assigned drums to session drummer", does that mean you selected a kit and loaded it? You clicked "New Program" and selected a kit? I only ask because, just the other day, I did not do this and I couldn't understand why I couldn't hear anything until I finally realized I did not load a kit first.

Can you clarify this statement? It's not possible to have one audio track host output for more than one synth, and you don't assign synths to outputs, you assign track inputs to synth outputs.

You'll need to have at least one audio track with its input set to one of Session Drummer's 12 outputs (by default, all of instruments in Session Drummer will be assigned to Output 1 in the Mixer page)). If you insert Session Drummer as a Simple Instrument or with the options to Create First Synth Audio Output or All Synth Audio Outputs (mono) SONAR will create the track(s) for you, and assign their inputs appropriately. Or you can insert a new audio track, and set its input to Session Drummer yourself.

Yeah. I wouldn't bet against it.
