No Sound from computer.

I recently built my new computer. Iv installed all the latest drivers for my soundcard. When songs are playing on things such as youtube or media player.. in the playback panel.. it shows volume level going up and down like normal. However no matter what i plug into, there is no sound. be it from the motherboard or my soundcard or the tower shell. My sound card IS listed in device manager and up to date. I've switched through all the playback and recording options.. no sound for any of them. It worked on my previous computer but not the new one. If anyone could possibly have any idea thatd be great. Im down to thinking maybe I just got a bad motherboard. Just tryna see if maybe theres something im missing.

SPECS: Motherboard - ASrock 970M PRo 3
RAM - 8gb (2x4gb) G Skill DDR3
Processor- FX 6350 6-Core

Maybe it's not computer-based... Maybe it's your speakers or some issue with the connection.

Confirm that your speakers are working with another source.

Ty I had done that. I had checked with multiple headphones and speakers and work fine on my laptop and tv. I have now since fixed the issue. Was some simple configuration needed to be done. Sometimes we focus so much on the complicated stuff and forgetthe simple little things. I'm honestly not even sure what I did that made it actually work. But all good now.
